Hello All, I was the fella who had the gas in the crankcaseô¸~ Been out of town the last three days on business. Really appreciate everyone's replies to my questions. Plan to begin disassembly this weekend on the engine. One question, is there any to test / inspect a mechanical fuel pump to see if the diaphram is okay? This seems to be the initial place to look based on the responses. What we do: I'm a engineer for the Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY (home of the Camry, Avalon, and Sienna). I'm responsible for supplied stampings from North American suppliers as well as the lead Engineer for the welded body for the Avalon model. I also ride motorcross bikes and raise beagle hounds for fun.
