If you suspect that your carbs are not in sync, you should sync them up regardless of what else is going on. => how often do my valves need to be adjusted? At least every 3000m, more if the engine is new. => there is a slight tapping only when i gun the gas pedal. Check your timing and advance, this could be detonation.
