I dont have a special tool but if the piston head isn't buggered a needle nose vice grip usually does it. put 1 blade on the flat part of the cutout and the other on the outside diameteåûÆ can also pressurize it with air after removing the outer dust seal and blow the piston out (while holding the other in place). and try again.
