I never had problems getting any of my stock type 3s over the 70 mph mark. One very tired 63 square struggled with 80, but that was due to a crack in the right head. The current ride has trouble with 70 in 2nd! But 90 in 3rd can happen!!!!!!! Gotta love that Dark Side; carbs and all! Cops are by and large very good people, under loads of stress. Give them some credit! The only resent bad apple I heard about gave a 54 Euro bug owner a ticket in Boise for using semaphores as turn signals. He was a young cop and had never seen them before. Youth has its disadvantages! I work with the police daily and have many that I consider close friends. Most that I know would rather warn than give a situation. They hate the hassle too.
