Stan makes a good point.  The acrylic foam tape is intended tĐNermanent attachment method.  It will not be easy to remove the
seal without damage once it is "taped" on.

That said, my Fasty has the original 28 year old seals on it and
they do not appear to have been removed.  If I were to get the
same performance from any new seals (I know, sounds like it would
be asking alot) maybe a permanent attachment would not be so bad.
