One of the switch leads connects, via an in-line fuse, to the + side
of the coil; the other side of the switch connects to the kick down
solenoid connection which you can only FEEL. It is a 1/4" spade
connector embedded in the tranny case, facing straight UP, directly
over the LR corner of the AT pan. You'd never find it on your own.

This is working exactly right. The computer turns on the pump when
the key goes on, but turns it off if the engine has not turned over
for 1-1.5 seconds. This is for safety, so the pump will not keep
running afte you have an accident that is sever enough to stop the
engine.

I plan to Bleed the system of air by hooking up an

The pump is supposed to run only as long as the engine is running, it
has nothing to do with pressure, that is regulated mechanically. The
best way to run the pump is to use a jumper wire across the tz&	‚ut terminals of the fuel pump relay.
