Again the STP stuff was recommended, particularly over > Armorall. I'd love to hear something definitive about this. It's funny, the only product that I've been told NOT to use is Armorall. I've heard that you will get cracks and such if you use it. Looks great when you put it on though. I tried the Son of a Gun today. Providing it's not secretly destroying my dash, I'm really pleased. Even though it's not billed as a cleaner it did remove some dirt that didn't come off with mild soap and water. It of course made everything look shiny and new, not counting discoloration that comes with age. I liked the fact that it didn't seem to leave the vinyl feeling "slick", you know how some of the other stuff does. It didn't make the car smell like a chemical dump either, in fact it didn't seem to have any smell at all. I don't know, I'm sure many of you already know all this. This is the first product I used on the vinyl so I figured I'd pass it along. I've had the car 4 or 5 years now and I've just been reluctant to put anything on it that might do damage in the long run.
