My owner's manuel ('65) list the "max and cruizing" speed at 84mph. I
always wondered what that meant, since mine easily goes faster then that,
and mine is all stock. I don't 诇臝 much faster, since I rarely go
faster then 75 or so, in the interest of engine longevity.
Perhaps the recommended top speed?
One question: How do you speed freaks keep your car on the road at
100mph? If there's any sort of wind, I get blown around at 75. I can't
imaging passing a truck at 100. I suppose with a bag of cement in the
front an extra person in the car...
