If you use the twin Solex 32PDSIT2-3, make sure they are from a 12-volt car so you get the idle cut-off jets and choke heaters. You will need to take 12V from the ignition wire for these. You need the supports and the different air-cleaner. The FI pump will give way too much pressure; either pick a low-pressure electric one, or fit a mechanical fuel pump in place of the FI warm-up valve (does the FI distributor have a fuel-pump drive? Probably need to swap it as well for the advance to match the carb performance). There's other details I have left out, I'm sure. Are you sure the FI is totalled? I would prefer to get that working, particularly with the relative ease of getting FI parts in the States. In the UK, it might be the opposite advice, as the twin Solexes are more common. Dave.
