Before you butcher a good system, can you elaborate on what 'parts have
gone bad'?  We can probably point you in the right direction to get your
engine running right again with a minimum of expense.  Carbs aren't
cheap, and you'll spend more time setting them up and keeping them
adjusted then you will with the FI.  If you decide to hack it up later,
put ALL the parts (including the wiring harness for the ECU and
injectors) in a box and pass them on, please.
