I believe... at least where I'm at... that the unwritten rule is that
you wave aüÜ's....(air cooled that is... the jetta's usually
won't recognize you... unless it's toby e)  yes,... even the super
beetles.... in fact.. I was driving around town in my new fasty the
other day (tem about 60,,, sun a shinin') and a guy in a bug waved at
me.... I finally recongnized him.... and chased him.... (you should
have seen it... it was a funny site... two 60 some horse powered vw's
weaving in a out of traffic... but the fasty did catch up... well...
when he finally pulled into a parking lot..) it turned out to be a guy
I once new way back when... like I was 15 and hung out with crazy old
vw people... and now I'm one of em.... they all meet on friday night
at a coffee shop... gonna go this friday... and I think Eduardo from
the list is gonna be there too.....

ahhh... the vw bond....
