In addition to the gross differences between 914 and 311, you also need to know that virtually every year of type 3 FI harness is different! Plus there are some years when there were more than 1 used. While the microfilm actually lists 6 different ones, there were originally more than that as some of them were discontinued (by making only a more complicated harness available and requiring that you cut off and insulate some unused wires.) Of course the same thing was true of the 914 harnesses.
