Got a hot tip a few minutes ago, from a friend engaged in genealogy research. Seems that the local library may have machinery that can produce paper printouts from a microfiche to a reasonable cost. Then maybe I can scan those printouts (with reservation for some quality loss). Will check this out soon. Thanks for the tip about the EKTA files. Will check that, too. Once the stuff is on the harddrive it should be a piece of cake to view and zoom the pic's with any picture processing program (PhotoShop, PaintShop Pro etc), no matter what screen size you got. Of course, the bigger screen, the better. If the quality turns out to be good, maybe a conversion to HTML/thumbnails and putting it up on the web would be a cool idea. But I suspect that VW has a saying about publishing rights etc... Thanks again for bothering. /Karl-Olov Sandin > -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- > FrŒn: scott a keck [SMTP:noddaz@juno.com] > Skickat: dst&
