The hazard switch is on the back of the knob! (behind the dash metal). This is permanently live, so the hazards can be used with or without the ignition. Contacts in here might have been over-loaded with short circuits. The flashing is done by the normal flasher relay on the fusebox relay board. What is the problem again, if the car is running OK though a bit slow? Do I remember it was all going wrong when the flashers were turned on? Do you have a circuit diagram? I could send you a scan if that would help. You need to look for missing earth wires, I suspect. It may be earthing the flasher through the ECU, which won't do much good. Wrongly re-connected wires may have damaged the hazard flasher switch. Any burning smells? Glad to hear the calendar arrived OK. That was good - I only posted it in Bristol the morning before. I was very pleased with how it turned out, particularly the Type 3s. That engine printed really well (does that make it a blue-printed engine? groan...), and Roy's Variant looks superb. £6000 he got for that! ($9,600 in American), but in the context of UK cars, it was truly exceptional. Dave.
