When that happened to me, it was the CHT sensor; the one that joins in a plastic connector on top of the left-hand cylinder tin. It needed needle-nosed pliers to push the connectors together. There are many other things it may be; any connections on the ignition circuit are suspect, as well as wiring shorts. Which wires you wiggle to make it work should give a good idea where the problem is. Dave.
