I've seen several aussie T3 parts on ebay in the past and it seems that they all start with a part number of 31A. From what I understand, and I may be wrong (well, in all likelihood I AM wrong), VW of Australia made several "official" parts for sale only down under, and a part number with 31A means it was for a type 3 (that's the 31) in Australia (that's the A). So when the guy selling it says it is a "Rare Factory Type 3 GT kit, as offered by the dealers in the late 60's", he of course means VW Australia as the factory, and the dealers down there. Anyone else have a guess?? Neil 65 Notch ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web! Visit http://www.vwtype3.org/list/
