Of course, the Notch was also available as A, L, E and LE.
Interestingly, European FI bugs used an I (for injection) instead of an E (for
einspritzung). I remeber seeing a Superbeetle (called 1302 (71-72) or 1303
(73-75/80cab) in Europe), it was designated 1302 IS (S was for 1600 engine
instead of 1300)
