Yup, just finished going over mine this last summer. Like Jim said, two screws under the rubber pad. You'll have to carefully lift it up. The door panel has to come off to get it out, too. On mine the rubber bumper portion inside the door had given up the ghost, cracked and dropped off. There's also an E-clip under the pivot that will have to be pried loose and the pivot pin taken out. Just make sure the door doesn't flop all the way open, you can get some nasty dings that way. To replace the rubber portion, I punched some circles out of some salvaged rubber belting scrap, then carefully cut a slot in the center to slip over the catch strap. You have to pull a cotter pin out to do it, it's pretty hefty, too. After that, my driver's side door didn't come anywhere near my newly painted fender. I noticed some check straps in RMMW's catalog that looked an awful lot like a T3's, they wanted a lot of bucks, though. Except for the time inviolved, which was minimal over and above stripping the doors for painting, mine were free.
