Allright, this should be an easy question for those of you type 3 gurus. My Squareback, original owner unknown and no birth certificate yet, is a '72 Fuel‰čµ d Manual Trans. On the FI system, the deceleration valve on it, on the left side of the engine compartment, has three outlets on it. You know, three places where hoses connect to it or from it. Does this mean that my car was a California model, according to John Muir's book, it is, it shows it on a little diagram in there. On my owners manual, however, it shows the car being bought in Virginia because the little sheet in the front is filled out. So, do i have a CAlifornia model or not? I'd also like to take a minute and thank all the great helpful people on this list, Thank you Jacob Schroeder '72 Squareback _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
