We ran into Marshall Painter (Patti's ex), I don't know if you know him but he said he had a few Type III parts in his truck. He was waiting for the weather to clear before he set up, but it hadn't by the time we had to go. At Bug Jam last year, he had a nice set of Euro headlight buckets (-bulbs) for ~$300 and a set of Type III rear mud flaps in the bag for a couple hundred. Last time I had talked to Marshall he still had both, so I thought he still had them at Pompano. I couldn't afford to bite on either one, so I looked around the parts booths but couldn't find anything. The show in Palm Beach is better than Pompano, and I heard that the Sears at Pompano is complaining about all the cars and lack of parking, so it might墩&3ged soon to another time or palce. There were a couple of Squares there, an old faded '69 for sale in the parking lot, an orange late model, and a red late model from up the street from my station on 36 St. in Miami. When we were leaving, we saw a nice silver late model square pulling in, but I think it was after registration closed, so I don't think he went in to show. AAR, I didn't see Cesar Costa's '69 auto Notch there, the car is immaculate and I doubt Cesar would have driven it up in the rain. Nor did we see the beige Square with the Type I light buckets from around here either. Maybe in Palm Beach (I think it's in July) there'll be more of a turn out.
