Re: [T3] Red light on!

When my fastback did this trick, I cleaned the commutator with fine
sandpaper, and it seemed OK. A week or two later on a fast trip to
Caerphilly, it came on when we stopped at a junction, then stayed on.

We all took a look at the impressive castle, and I cleaned all the
connections at the dynamo and regulator, while the others had lunch, and
tried again. No good, it still stayed red. So I smacked it - flat of the
hand, just once, all legal, but quite firmly. No problem now for over 2
years.
So, anyone who says corporal punishment is wrong can take a hike; a short
sharp shock at the right time saves lots of pain and anguish later! And
I'll be happy to tell that to the European Court of Human Rights.
