There should be a pair of studs with nuts on them at the bottom edge of the
seatback.  Remove the nuts and lift the loops (part of the seat back) over
them, then slide the entire seat back UP towards the rear window.  That
should get it out of there.  I just did this on my '73 fasty, don't think it
would change too much.
