I'll combine questions 1 & 2. I use a 13/16 spark plug socket. This is a 
'special' socket for use on plugs. It is of the deep socket varity with a 
rubber collar or insert inside the socket to hold the plug inside the socket 
so the plug won't fall out during removal. An extention or combination of 
extentions & a universal are helpful in removal of the plugs. Yes, it seems 
daunting the first time trying to get to all the plugs with all the hoses & 
other parts in place, but like most other things...pratice makes perfect. Use 
a fuel line to put over the insulator when inserting the new plugs to get 
them searted. This help prevent cross-threading.

Yes..possibly. Also check that the fire from the coil to the distributor is 
good.
