If your chips are to bare metal or to rust you must clean to bare 
metal and use a primer. There are many automotive paint stores that 
will custom mix colors and put them in spray cans. Call around and 
see what you can find.

Low RPMs are worse than high. If you still have the fuel injection, 
then it really won't operate faster than the engine should turn, so 
that is a safeguard. It can be surprising how fast this engine can 
turn without damage. 3000 RPM sounds high to most people, but the red‡·s 5000-5500.
