not to cause problems here, but I've noticed a few things about Bus (crew cab) owners and T3 owners. Most of the time they dont stray outside their "religion" if you know what I mean. I've seen on the Bus list that they dont give much thought towards anything but buses. For the most part the same thing goes for T3 owners (they care about T3's mostly though). There are a few people who happen to be fond of both. Me, everett, Charlie Ford and Jeff Carver to name a few. Maybe this comes from an overall love for VW's in general, but as I'm sure some of the other milti-list subscribers can confirm, a nice crewcab is hard, very hard to come by. There was recently a lenghty thread on the T2 list about a guy desparately looking for a crew cab. His search took him months if I remember correctly and he ended up traveling to Sacramento from Seattle to finally buy his crew of choice. What I'm really trying to say is that I dont think you're ever going to find a fair straight across the board trade for your Notch. I'm not saying that youe Notch isnt worth it (It actually looks like it is), but I think you'd have better luck offering cash for the crew cab than a Notchback. If you're dead set on only trading, I'd suggest subscribing to the Vintage bus mailing list <www.type2.com> and maybe keeping an eye out there for a crew for sale. They do come up occasionally. You might also mention your desire for a trade to the list and see what happens. It does seem that you've had considerable interest in your Notch from the T3 list and it might be best to make sure it goes to a good home and then just buying the crew of your choice.
