Re: [T3] Gauge Removal - How to??


First, you make sure you've got a cold panel by taking the battery
cable off, nothing like a few shorts up in the dash to make your day.
I work from right to left through the succesive holes, clock first,
and through that hole, the speedo, then finally the fuel guage, which
I've only had out once.  Label everything you pull off the backs of
the intruments, you'll be more apt to get it back in the right slot.
Taking off the fuse box and letting it dangle helps on the speedo and
fuel gauge access, although that spring up against the outside wall on
the fuel gauge is hard to get to, if my memory serves me..
