It is possible that the line to the rear is leaking and that this 
leak gets out into the frame horns and drips as if it were coming 
from the front axle beam.  [I hope I have interpreted your post 
correctly.]  It is almost always possible to lift the carpet and see 
wetness next to where the base of a LHD gas pedal would be.  If yours 
is RHD, this should be even easier to see, but you may have to look 
carefully. 

If this is your problem, I'm afraid that replacement of the line is 
the only cure, but you should make sure that you have found the real 
cause of the problem before you throw more parts and money at it.
