I think you're in for a spell with a meter and the Bentley manual. I had this just happen, but pulling the connector off and then putting it back on the pressure sensor did the trick, crudded-up connector at fault. Did you check the bulb with an ohmmeter or just replace it? Sometimes the socket gets crudded up. It's also not unheard of to have a new bulb bad out of the package, shipping damage sometimes. Check at the socket for voltage, then trace back to the fuse block. No meter? Check at Radio Shack, cheap but adequate for the purpose. I agree, having no oil pressure warning light is bad. You'll probably find a corroded contact in there somewhere or maybe a broken wire.
