Hello all...I'm wondering what is a good price to pay for a door...someone I know has one for sale...it's the color I need (sumatra green) for my 73 fastback, and in decent shape...its complete, including the door panel and window crank. The paint is good, but it has a long dent that I'll have to take care of...she's holding out for $100 or more, but my experience with late model VWs, in general, if that is too much to pay...I'd go that high if the door was perfect, but it's not. I'm offering $70, but her friends (their VW knowledge is unknown) say a door is worth more. I know about supply and demand, something is worth what someone will pay, and all that other buyer/seller methodology... ...but in your opinion, what is a door worth?
