Rip off? Really? I have the one that tucks inside the bumper and is mounted at the bumper mounts on the body. There is also a plate that is screwed into the body just below and to the outside of the body bumper mounts and it covers the body bumper mounts (does have holes in it for mounting bolts to pass through). Looks like a reinforcement plate of sorts. I figure if the hitch rips off it's gonna take the bumper and entire rear end from the car!
