Knobs on dash are for fresh-air only;
Right-hand lever on tunnel does the heat (sometimes has a red knob)
and left-hand lever does the rear vents beneath back seat;
Slider knobs on A-pillars open the floor outlets (down is off);
later 72 and 73 models had tunnel mounted controls for this; goes
with the 3-point seats.

So, get all heat to the screen by pulling up R/H lever, pushing down
side knobs and L/H lever down.
That's assuming it's all working fine!  When it is, it's good (don't
know about temps well below freezing, or stationary in traffic
though!).
