if it takes the place of the pressure relief valve plug it's going to
protrude beneath the engine.  not a problem, say, if you have an extra sump
or your not worried about ground clearance.  but in a baja or a lowrider
hmm..
not good if your in the habit of scrapping the ground

|figuring that oil would go from the pump to an external filter, probably to

|external oil cooler, then *back* into the engine/bearings via this adapter.
|What type of engine would one do this to i.e. big bore/stroker, racing
only,

|from a one-eyed one-armed purple-people-eater mechanic?
