[T3] Empi 8 spoke

Hello all,

Thanks for answering my questions about rims.  I have settled on the
eight spoke empi's for my 71 squareback.  The guy at Komet in California
said that on some squarebacks he thinks 71's the calipers rub on the
spokes in the front.  He says that a half-dollar sized disc sticks out
too far... probably the back of the piston.

Have any of you ever heard of this?

He also said one guy just filed it down a little, and another option was
to get some spacers from a porche dealer.

Have any of you guys heard of such a problem for empi's on a 71
squareback, all stock?
