Dear Stan: Yup, after investigating yesterday, I found thg problem. I pulled back the cardboard liner in the trunk and felt the large rubber hose from the fuel filler neck AND the overflow tube to the tank. The large rubber one was damp, (not dripping however) and the braided one from the overflow tube to the tank was damp as well! Geesh did that trunk smell! Does anyone know offhand what the sizes are of these hoses? Are they still available? I replaced the overflow tube (outside the fender well) a month ago or so. Whenever I turned corners after a fill up, I would see a stream of gas on the road! Turned out it rotted in the "bend" I have resolved that I am going to replace all the remaining fuel hose this weekend. I don't want to blow up going down the road!
