I usually install the line, hook up the rear and bolt the "T" back into place, dress the line back up to the front, and then bend and install to the MC. I think that 220mm should have been long enough, but if it was not, you have my sincere apologies. Over here the common brake line that most places sell is a beetle line which is actually about 1.5" shorter than the T3 one. I assumed that was what you were up against. I just sold my last stainless steel center brake line, or I would have gone right down and measured it for you. I just looked up the invoice for them and they were 87". When I convert to metric I get 220.9mm, which should be more than close enough. I don't understand why this length did not work for you.
