Hey all, I posted a few weeks ago that when I installed a replacement center brake line (front to back) it appeared to be a few inches too short. I read from the list that it is best to use one that is 87" (220 cm) long so one has a little extra room to play with. I had a 220cm line made and installed it yesterday. I left the too short line in place and used it to pull the new line past the pedal assy and out the back end so I didn't have the opportunity to measure it before buying the replacement. Guess what? The new line is also too short. What gives? Should I have very little room to work with? An extra 2 inches on each end would be heaven (4" total). Am I just doing something wrong? In case you didn't ready my post of a few weeks ago, I am replacing a center brake line installed by the PO that dangles underneath the car from the MC to the junction for the rear brakes.
