The residual pressure in the fuel line drops gradually. Assuming no external fuel leak (which you would probably smell), it could be injectors leaking a bit, or the pressure regulator is not 100%. A friend here found his was fine after treating the fuel with an injector cleaner (Redex brand, but I guess most are similar). He reckoned it had been the pressure regulator because he checked everything else (including the injectors out of the engine). Does it start first go if you just turn the ignition on and off a couple of times first to build up pressure? Dave.
