Uhm...I don't want to sound like a spammer...but after doing some survey work I discovered infoseek(R) has free, *unlimited* disk space web pages. I checked it out and I liked it so much I switched my Type Three Tech web page and my personal web pages to it. I originally started with GeoCities. Good concept but large banner advertising and the pop-up window advertising is a pain in the butt! infoseek (yes, it's supposed to be all lowercase) doesn't do this. Also, they have a web transfer so you can copy all of your current web site files to your infoseek site (as well as files from other sites) -- nice feature! They also allow subdirectories. From what I gather under their Terms agreement you can use your page(s) if you own a business (i.e. use your site for commercial purposes, GeoCities doesn't allow this) as well as promote other businesses. Since you can choose your own login id AND password you can set up multiple sites like I did (http://pages.wbs.net/webchat3.so?login.x=1&dest=http%3a%2f%2fmembers%2ewbs% 2ene t%2fcgi%2dbin%2ffile_manager%2ecgi%3fsubmit%3dUpload%2bMy%2bImages). Anyway, I've noticed that there are several people on the list who are using GeoCities so I am passing this along since I think it's a better deal for users and surfers.
