Hi All- I frequent Buds Bugs and just gotta tell ya if you're looking for
nice Type III body parts for the front end you can forget it. They have a
ton of everything else it seems, but body parts are generally few and far
between. They do have a STACK of doors lined up against the side wall, and
I'm sure one could find workable parts in there. Also, Buds is good for
suspension and some interior parts, as they generally strip and pile parts
according to VW type. The basic purpose of this message, however, is to
let you know that the place really is much more "Buds Bugs" and NOT "Buds
Type IIIs" so you can generally consider yourself lucky if you emerge from
the yard with the part you went there for. I have *never* left there
without finding at least something useful (ex: last time I pulled off a
100% intact right door seal :) but my hit-miss ratio for the exact stuff I
need is like 1:10.

Oh, btw/ I've been bugging them for years now to let me part out the 90%
intact 66 square they have in the back. The last response I got (2 weeks
ago) was "NEVER". I chuckled and told them that's too bad but I like their
attitude!

Best to All u T III people!
