[T3] Question: Tail Light Lens

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know what the difference is between two different tail lamp
lenses. The lenses on the 71 Notch are red with white reverse at the
bottom. The lenses that someone told me were the correct lenses for the
car have the top yellow for turn signaling, red for the brake and white
for the reverse. The correct lenses, from what I understand are the
three colored lenses, I was told that these are known as the european
composit lens. If this is true why do I only have the two color / red
and white lenses on the car? Was it part of the importation process?
Anyone have any ideas?
