AH!!! Back on the list!!!... No more goats, but my cars are a little happier for the lack of cloven hoofmarks on their fading paint jobs.... I've missed y'all. On to the quick- I am now redoing (I hate to say restoring- no much commitment!) my 1970 fastback. Its in fine shape- no interior, and a single carb on a modified bug motor, BUT I have the fuel injected motor out of my square. Afetr the motor, I'm going to paint it, redo the seals and then the interior. But, of course, I have a few ?????ssss Any preferences on types of paint?? I would love to tear out all the seals, but I can't seem to find popout seals for the back. Any one have any clue?? My other problem is more aesthetic- if I keep the current seals(they aren't bad, just old. no cracks even) Then I feel obliged to by the disturbingly expensive American Style rubber (shouldn't that be German Style??? oh well...). any thoughts??? Opinion time: TMI vs Sewfine. There was a company in the latest Hot VW that had the complete inteor kit for $350 I think..... Any comments?? What ever happened to that aftermarket dashboard thread?? I've had to follow on the sly.... Ragtops- is Streat Beat still the vendor of choice?? -back in the Saddle Again- -rj/goatboy
