oil pressure or lack there of

I need some help, so I'll re-post again...  My newly aquired fasty is
giving me a oil light flicker at idle after a significant drive, more
than 20 minutes at 70mph.  I have checked the sensor, oil level, oil
temp, timing, cooling flaps and idle speed.  I no longer have an oil
pressure gauge, but it pumps oil through the sensor hole when it is
removed.  The car makes no unusual noises and the dip stick can be held
easily at the oil marks.  Any one have any other suggestion as what to
try before I remove all of the rear fan housing and stuff to get to the
oil pump itself?
