I just replaced the second T3 fuel pump relay in my life. Both were on cars that I owned and had been having trouble with. The first was a 72 several years ago and the second was a 73, today. I found that even though the relays closed with a healthy snap, there was no power getting through, and the engine would stop due to lack of fuel. The same Bosch relay was used in all years, but I wonder if the part got cheapened in the later years. Has anyone else ever had one of these go bad? What year? The same Bosch part number is used as the FI main power relay, but I have yet to see one of these go bad. Perhaps that relay passes less current.
