Check your rear hub nuts, yeah, the ones that are supposed to have umpty-zillion foot-pounds of torque. I had both sides come loose one time, it did all sorts of screwy things before I nailed it down If it hasn't occurred to you, how about getting the correct TIII gas tank:)? At least around here, they check for proper charcoal canister hook up, which the venting is part of. I picked up a like-new gas tank out of a junk yard a few years back, was only $10-15. Wish I could have had the car before the junkyard got it, I think it had the original engine, looked like the prototypical little old ladies car. Junkyard guy said that gas tanks were hard to get rid of. Someone on the list might have one for sale.
