I had this problem with my tank as well. I drilled a very, very small hole in the [non-stock] gas cap. The real problem, for me, is I need to fix my gas tank breather system. I would say your problem is that your tank doesn't have it's system set up. If I drive at highway speed for lets say.....2hours....it stalls because of a vacuum in the tank. I thought I ran out of gas.....but it turned out I needed to take off the gas cap and release the pressure. Any suggestions on getting rid of that problem too?
