I also didn't have any metal-moving equipment other than a drill and files, so I really didn't want to remove more than I had to. On the Oberg mounting, that's a good question. I haven't really come up with the definitive mounting on mine. I was going to rig up a sort of horizontal mounting on the inner side of the rear duct work with snap pins so I could get at it for cleaning. Haven't done that yet, have it dangling from a piece of perforated angle off the left-side engine mount. It isn't great by any means, more exposed than I'd like, but I have the armored hoses, so that helps. I can get at the takedown nuts without pulling the thing off the car, so it really isn't too bad a location. At least it stays cool. >This was a really good post with lots of well thought out advice. >The only thing I can add is that I have not had any trouble with a >rear mount cross bar which has been clearanced for the Berg relief >cover.
