>>I'm sure there's a good picture in the Bentley manual. Naturally, that's the manual I've misplaced. On the other side of the coin, on a reference from Steve Ayers, I went to a place in Glendale, AZ; and they sold me a replacement aluminum fan. *And* because they're such good VW volks, they showed me all of these lovely parts *out of the car*, and I was able to see the whole she-bang. *Now* I understand what you've been talking about, and I'm *really* hoping that the little pin isn't shorn off in the steel fan. I'm *really* hoping that, because for some reason (I'm assuming cheap ignition parts), I'm going through points fairly quickly, and I will need to time it soon (read: new points). I'm having difficulty getting the correct condenser for my car; have you all experienced the same thing? Either the electric lead is too short, and the mounting bracket is the correct one, or the lead is plenty long enough, and the bracket is wrong. Any ideas? Do you all want the part numbers I'm dealing with? The VWFLAPS that I've been using gave me similar trouble with a T1 I had years ago. Or am I just too picky, and be glad I can still find the condenser at all, and just butch it together like it's been done? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
