A simple roll bar will not do it. I don't know much about such a project but I do know you will really need to support the pan and body. Weld supports under the pan, hack the top, then weld in support structures inside the (now open) forward vertical heater channels and pillars. I think some cutting would be involved as well. Before you do this (yourself, I'm assuming) get some books on auto chassis, like how to build your own, to assist you in a strong support structure.
