The gasoline heater was a rare factory (in the US) option starting in 71. I have only ever seen one! All the other cars came with just a plastic plug to stop up that hole. If you had the heater, it would be taking up about the left third of your (front) trunk and there would be a hole there into your LF wheel well for the exhaust. Gross. Well, there's nothing under the bonnet/trunk/front thingy that could possibly resemble that, certainly no holes in the LF wheel well. The hole just looked like somebody had removed something metal from there (could've been an amplifier, or fog lights, or whatever). Does anybody have one for sale? That disk is a separately available part, common to all later years. Right. Does anybody know where I could find one.
