Also check to see if the throttle shaft bushings are worn severely..if they
are wicked sloppy, they will drip gas at the point where the shaft goes
through the bushing at the base of the carbs...
Another thing that leaked on my 69 was the brass fitting that the gas line
slips over. The brass tube was ready to fall out of the carb.
